Come try out your acting, singing, and dancing skills in a
fun and exciting musical theatre camp. In one week’s time
you will learn valuable performance and dramatic lessons
while rehearsing and eventually performing “Alice in
OzaWanka” a fantastical journey into the world of zany
characters such as the Wicked Witch, Glenda (the good
witch), “Nono” (Alice’s dog), the Cheshire Cat, the Mad
Hatter, Oompa Loompas, the Candy Man and many other colorful
personalities. Everyone will
have a part!
The camp dates from which to choose are:
July 26 – 30 and August 9 – 13.
10:00 – 3:00 each day with a performance on Friday at 2:00.

DIRECTORS
ALLISON
D’AUTEUIL WHITFIELD
(CHOREOGRAPHER)
is beginning her ninth year
teaching young students all
forms of dance, including
Musical Theatre, at the
Ballet Academy. She was
previously the Dance Program
Director for the Sonshine
Academy in Arkansas. She
has a degree in Psychology
and Sociology from Hendrix
College.
LAURIE
GRANLUND (MUSICAL DIRECTOR)
has enjoyed a national
professional singing
career. She has performed
as featured soloist at
events ranging from “Miss
Texas Pageant” to guest
artist with the Irving
Symphony Orchestra and the
Plano Symphony Orchestra.
Ms. Granlund’s stage
experience has included
roles in Casa Manana’s and
the national touring cast
for Dallas Summer Musical’s
Broadway series. Laurie
brings 25 years private
voice teaching experience to
the academy.
PRODUCTIONS
Our goal is to produce two
musical theatre productions each year.
In 2008-2009, we presented
Christmas Tabloids, an
original musical written in
part by the students and
director, Laurie Granlund.
In the spring, we produced
Disney’s Sleeping Beauty
Kids
